I own and operate a horse and cattle ranch, along with dogs, cats, sheep, chickens and turkeys.
I enjoy reading, writing poetry, Celtic History, traveling, exploring old cemetaries and castles for genealogical research in Ireland, Scotland and England.I
come from a long line of Irish and British nobility along with those ancestors who were rebels and dissenters. ;-) I also enjoy tinkering on the ranch
equipment and trucks. I like to take things apart to learn how they operate, then put them back together again so that they can run smoothly once more. A
simple joy is to climb to the top of one of the windmills and see the land for miles, perhaps kissing the air with a red-tailed hawk or buzzard. I also
enjoy helping people whenever I can and like to offer a kind ear, a gentle heart and shoulder to those in need. I'm naturally intuitive and empathic and
enjoy a good ghost hunt TAPS style when I can. I encourage conservation so that the local wildlife can flourish and so that all the critters and land can be in
balance. It's delicate but very satisfying to see doves raising families in the pastures, and to watch coyotes wander warily amongst the livestock. Life
is simple and good on the ranch and I couldn't have asked for a more simplifying yet satisfying lifestyle being able to help others provide food for their
families. :-)
I was brought up by very conservative Catholic parents and my beliefs are of that nature. :-)
